+ WHAT IS THE RECOMMENED PLACEMENT OF THE PINS ON A BED OR SOFA?

+ HOW MANY PINS WILL I NEED?

• This will depend on the weight of your bed skirt or slipcover and your personal preferences. For general placement suggestions, look to the next question. We suggest getting enough Pins so that you will have extras to use on the corners of bed skirts to create the perfect pleat and most secure hold.

+ MY BED SKIRT IS MADE OF HEAVY UPHOLSTERY FABRIC - WILL I NEED TO USE MORE PINS?

• Yes, you should use more for a secure hold and place them closer together. Our Pins will hold multiple layers of fabric up to 1/2” thick. Bed skirts made from heavier fabrics are the most likely to shift between linen changes. The Pins will fasten the bed skirt or dust ruffle into place so your bed will always appear neat and polished.

+ SHOULD I REMOVE MY PINS WHEN I FLIP MY MATTRESS?

• Yes, we do recommend removing the Pins before flipping your mattress. Because moving a heavy mattress is cumbersome, it is possible to snag or tear the mattress ticking on a Pin during the move. Furthermore, the tugging of the mattress during this process could result in a torn bed skirt. After the mattress is repositioned simply re-install the Pins as directed on the How to Use page.

+ ARE THERE ANY OTHER USES FOR THESE PINS, ASIDE FROM BED SKIRTS AND SLIPCOVERS?

• There are many applications. One helpful tip is to use the Pins to secure fitted sheets on mattresses, especially on dual base adjustable beds that tend to have problems keeping the sheets secure during use. Using the Pins to anchor your fitted sheet to the mattress will assist in preventing any linen movement when repositioning your bed. + DO YOU RUN THE RISK OF THE SHARP PINS HAVING ANY CONTACT WITH YOUR SKIN?

• When you insert the Stay Put Pins into your mattress you should point the sharp points away from you, toward the middle of the mattress. If you install them in this manner, the Pins will be safely embedded in the mattress and will have no way of coming into contact with your skin. The Pins are sharp by design so they will easily pierce bed skirts and slipcovers without harming the fabric. Please use care when inserting Stay Put Pins in your bed and keep out of reach of children.

+ WILL THE PINS FALL OUT OF THE BED?

• No - when properly installed, the unique L-shaped design of the Pins secures them in place and prevents them from coming loose or falling out like other models.

+ CAN I RETURN ITEMS FOR A REFUND?

• We want you to love Stay Put Pins but if you’re unsatisfied with your order, you may return it. All products are eligible for return and refund within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and undamaged and include the original packaging. Please reference your order number on or within the return package. Returns will be refunded in the original payment form, minus shipping fees that may have been charged. Please allow 7 business days for your return to be processed. We will send an e-mail once the items have been received, checked, and the refund has been initiated. Stay Put Pins reserves the right to refuse items returned after 30 days, or items that appear to have been used or damaged.
